Preliminary work done for the series Homage to Goya in which the artist explores the universes of the Aragonese master through his personal technique and unique, intimate and reflective vision, giving rise to a dreamlike world never seen before.
Goya flew in many of his works through his winged figures, from the wings carried by his angels and angels in his religious paintings, to the infinity of macabre and demonic figures that appeared with their dark wings. In the works of Luis Royo and Romulo Royo, we also find this obsession to represent winged, dark and mysterious characters to which they add their vision of angels who deny their celestial mission and are sexed, provocative and challenging.
