WE'RE BACK FROM LUCCA COMIC&GAMES 2023: THE CAPITAL OF FANTASY
We come back from Lucca Comic & Games one more year grateful to be part of what every edition becomes the biggest fantasy festival. We have been lucky this year not only to participate with our usual stand of limited editions in the Carducci pavilion, but also this year we have made our debut in Chiesa dei Servi, with our stand dedicated only to original works by artists Luis Royo and Romulo Royo.
This was not the only novelty this year, as both artists have left their mark in the city's Palazzo Ducale, thanks to their exhibition Luis Royo & Romulo Royo: Art Generations, curated by Mauro Bruni, which has been one of the exhibitions with the largest number of works on display in the history of Lucca C&G, counting more than 80 pieces by both artists, 20 of which belong to the new series on which the artists have been working during the last few years: Homage to Goya, combining the fantasy of the authors in the purest Royo style.
We would like to thank all the public that welcomed us with all the affection and curiosity to discover more about the world of artists. Whether you were regular collectors, fans or new customers, we hope you enjoyed the Lucca C&G 2023 experience together with our team and the artists.
Also, of course, thanks to all the Lucca organization for having made possible another year marked by the fantasy of Luis Royo and Romulo Royo. Thanks to Simone Bonaccorso, Erika Santin, Barbara Gozzi, Giovanni Russo, Silvia Ceccarelli and of course to the director of this whole orchestra of art, games and culture, Emanuele Vietina, for making sure that everything went smoothly as every year. Of course also thanks to Mauro Bruni and all his team for the dedication with which the exhibition in the Ammannati Gallery of the Palazzo Ducale has been organized, mounted and presented to all the 314,500 visitors to LC&G this year.
We hope to meet again very soon either in Lucca or elsewhere, very soon you will discover the rest of the projects we are working on to bring you closer to the world of Luis Royo and Romulo Royo.
