Laberinto Gris makes a new installment of 6 Limited Editions of great classics by the artist Luis Royo. III Millennium, Secrets, Subversive Beauty or Dead Moon are some of the titles within which the most avid readers could find these images. From powerful heroines to the most intimate moments, this selection of numbered Limited Editions signed by the artist expands our catalogue.
The 6 pieces of different themes and stages of the author's career are available on our website with a 15% discount applicable only from September 8 to 17, 2023.
Printed on a heavyweight watercolor paper (340 gms/m2) and 42 x 60 cm in size, these prints, accompanied by their certificate of authenticity, present impeccable technical care, which makes the nuances and quality of the work evident, giving rise to prints with an exceptional finish.
Our collectors will be able to enjoy the mythical images of heroines and warriors in the book Subversive Beauty dedicated to the art of tattooing and to all muses with drawn skin and subversive beauty such as Medusa's Gaze, where Medusa's warrior gazes defiantly at the viewer while brandishing a shining steel sword; or Lizzy Strain's Blue Dream, which presents the tattooed young woman defeating the orc that prevented her from sleeping at night since she was a child. Both graphic works are released in print runs of 200 sheets each.

From III Millennium, the fallen angels are again available as a Limited Edition after a few years, this time with a print run of 200 copies of the Fallen Angel II image, the most erotic of the selection that appeared in 1998 between the pages of the author's book, along with a quote from John Milton's Lost Paradise. Between shades of rust and steel, the fallen angel surrenders completely to desire.

From a more intimate and delicate perspective, Threads of Desire was chosen from the book Secrets for its soft colors and the elegance of the female figure. Available in a print run of 200 editions, the image of the Lady of the Lake who awaits the return of Excalibur between flashes of fireflies on the surface of the water, is part of our Limited Editions catalog after its publication in 1996.

The Daisy is perhaps one of the most daring images, where between blood and brilliant edges of sword and scythe, we find this iconic scene from the first installment of the Prohibited trilogy (whose first edition was published in 1999), of which only 90 prints are available. Following the same idea as in Lizzy Strain's Blue Dream, of the heroine who takes the life of the monstrous orc, The Daisy does it in a much more ruthless and morbid way.

The book Dead Moon has been one of the artist's best sellers, not only for its precious illustrations but also for its intriguing story of love and death and of two rival families in an oriental fantasy world, which is why its cover had to be part of this selection with 400 print runs under the title Las Cuatro Lunas.
