Eroticism of the transgressor

"Bataille considers that the dialectic of transgression and prohibition is the condition and even the essence of eroticism. An arena of violence, that occurs in eroticism is dissolution or the destruction of the enclosed being: the normal state of a player in the game. One of the forms of extreme violence is nudity, a paradoxical state of communication, or rather the agony of the being: a pathetic ceremony laying the path form humanity to animality. Contronted with nudity, Bataille experiences a feeling of inviolability where fascination and horror merge together, arousing in him the equivalent of an act of murder, a sacrifice."
