Luis Royo invites us to look at the past from the future. The series “The Reason Disappeared” explores, through its ever-present female protagonsit, ages and cultures in which growth and the quest for reason were the very foundation of civilization. With these works, he seeks to encourage reflection on these age-old concerns, which have brought us to where we are today, and which must continue to drive us forward. “The Philosophers Gone”, he assert, perhaps posing a challenge to anyone who dares accompany him on this eternal journey in constant pursuit of human beauty.
