Unpublished work belonging to the series Homenaje a los Caprichos de Goya, in which the artist reimagines the caprices of Goya with the incorporation of characters and elements of the work of Hokusai, in this case, Kakimoto no Sojo.

The series of small canvases stands out among the latest works of Luis Royo, as it deals with a theme and format never treated before, resulting in these pieces in unique jewels in the collection of any coinossieur of the artist.

Y aún no se van! belonging to the series of engravings "Los Caprichos de Goya", is, according to the Prado Museum, one of the few examples of Goya's optimism. "The enormous slab that hangs over the terrified council can symbolize nothing other than the weight of history and human progress that must bury ignorance, superstition and obscurantism. The dawn of dawn announces in the Goyaesque picture that the advent of the lights is immediate, and that the titanic efforts of the children of darkness are already useless. Rarely will Goya's optimism and his hope in human progress be so evident."

In his trilogy Malefic Time, together with Romulo Royo, Luis Royo reflects on the coming of the end, his only salvation being his character Luz with the sword Malefic, around which the whole saga revolves.
