Unpublished illustration made for the series Homage to Goya, exhibited in the exhibition "The Dream of Fantasy" in the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) at Barcelona. It was also exhibited on "Art Generations" at Lucca Comic & Games exhibition at Palazzo Ducale di Lucca.
Both in his paintings and in his engravings, Goya's universe is impregnated with the magical and mysterious world of witches, just as, from another perspective, it constantly appears in the Royo's work. While in Goya this esoteric world is shown anchored to terrifying female characters, in the Royo's trajectory they appear fusing this occult world with an enigmatic beauty. But the ancestral power of the feminine world emerges and shows itself equally vehement in their works through the brushstrokes in both sides, thus linking the mystery through the centuries.
