Work done for a project by the film director and writer Julio Medem, based on the character in his novel Aspasia, Amante de Atenas.

Illustration published inside the author's book Projects 2, Custon-Made, pages, 28-29.

Aspasia is an initial concept piece for a historical female character who, with her many gifts, her attractiveness, her culture and her mind, played a key role in ancient Greece.
This piece was produced for a history series to be shown on the small screen. The overriding priority for this project was to define the scenes involving Aspasia and how the character would be portrayed at the various points in her life. From the time she spent in stunning Persia, to her time in Athens with Pericles, or her time as a "straight" woman (as a courtesan, cultured and independent) and also as a teacher of rhetoric with her disciples.

As these were just the first ideas designed to present the project, the piece represents a synthesis, some simple brushstrokes offering a visual idea of the physical features of the actress they had proposed for the character, placing her in the various settings.
