There once was a dark time where there was no place for fantasy. Conditions were so arduous that our species found itself defenseless. Tearfully we wandered in fear, always on the lookout for new threats. Like scavengers, we crossed the planet in this precarious position, urged on by the need for shelter. We didn't have time to think, much less the time to imagine. We were mere humans.
