Preliminary work for the final work Dark Room 11, belonging to the collection Dark Room.
During the creative process of the artists, many sketches, studies and sketches are made which, in the case of Luis Royo, are usually smaller, on tracing paper and are piled up in his studio as he makes the final works.
After some time, preparing a book or simply pretending to collect the study, all these sketches are rescued after having lived a long period in the artist's studio.
That is why we can find sketches dated after the original work, as the artist gave each sketch a final touch before taking it out of the studio.
