This enigmatic work by Romulo Royo captures better than any other a modern lyricism which is so delicate that it hypnotises us. Beneath a conceptual crown of thorns, the cold metal antagonizes us with a look expressing so much melancholy that it pervades us and escapes beyond the limits of the painting.
